What's an Issue Type Notification Template Scheme?

An Issue Type Notification Template Scheme is used to assign different Notification Template Schemes to different issue types. Once created you can assign them to one or more projects.

Accesing to Issue Type Notification Template Schemes section

1. Click the  from the top menu and choose Issues from the dropdown list. 

2. Select  Issue Type Notification Template Scheme from the left menu.

   Alternatively you can press '.' to show the quick search dialog and type 'Issue Type Notification Template Scheme' and hit <enter> to go to this menu.

3. Next, you will see the following screen:

Create a new Issue Type Notification Template Schemes

Click the "Add Issue Type Notification Template Scheme" button at the right hand side of the screen as shown in the previous section. It will show a a dialog box like this:

Give your scheme a name and select which Default Notification Template Scheme needs to be used for unmapped issue types. Click "Save" to save your changes.

Mapping an Issue Type to a different Notification Template Scheme

By default all issue types are assigned the same Notification Template. In order to change the Notification Template for one (or more) specific issue type(s) then click the "Configure" option in the Operations column on the right hand side of the screen. Next you will see the following screen:

Next you can delete and/or assign a new Notification Template Schema to a specific issue type.

Delete, Edit or Copy an Issue Type Notification Template Scheme

After you have created an Issue Type Notification Template Scheme, it will appear in the list of schemes. In the operations column, at the right hand side of each scheme you can select either to delete, edit or copy an Issue Type Notification Template Scheme.

Add new projects to configuration

SINCE V 2.2

You can add new projects to existing configuration easily using the Add projects menu option. Click in the Add projects link of the Issue Type Notification Scheme you want to add new projects.

You can select new projects easily from there. Add all the projects that you want to use the same configuration and then click Add. These projects will be automatically configured to use TemplateMe! Please note that projects that already have a TemplateMe! configuration won't appear in the selector.
