Version 2.1

With this new version of TemplateMe! we've addressed one of the most requested improvements from our users: An easier way to configure the app. When we started to develop TemplateMe! we emulated the way Jira is configured (templates, templates schemes and issue templates schemes) but we acknowledge that this pretty confusing. To help you on your way in using TemplateMe! we have created a configuration wizard which in a few steps allows you to customize the notification templates for the projects you want. Of course you still have the option to customize further by going to each of the configuration screens.

We have also added a new powerful and efficient editor that replaces the previous version editor. This editor allows you to directly edit the code in the templates, paste the code from a external source and get a live preview of the template. The editor has code folding and syntax highlighting for your convenience.

Another new feature in TemplateMe! is the multi language support. Nowadays lots of teams are international and our notifications should be able to recognize this. With TemplateMe! 2.1 you can use new language tags that will make the content inside them to be only printed if the receiver user has that language as their default language in their Jira configuration.

This version fixes some bugs and introduce new options to include in the templates. And all of this compatible with Jira 8!

TemplateMe! version 2.2 for Jira Server keep the path of making admins life easier and allows you to add several projects to existing configuration with just a couple of clicks.

In the Issue Type Notification Template Schemes you can find the new action link Add projects:

Then you can just add all the projects you want (that are not already configured with TemplateMe!)
