What is ReceiveMe!?
ReceiveMe! is an adda JIRA add-on for JIRA to to ease the process of creating JIRA issues. The add-on processes mails containing the configured mailbox and creates users, comments and issues for each, keeping the format and inline images of the original email into issue description.
During mail treatment, the add-on check the email subject. If it contains a key to issue adds that email as a new comment.
The add-on, at the same time, checks if the mail sender is a user of JIRA. If it is not, the add-on adds it as external user and will not consume license JIRA.
converts emails, sent to pre-configured mailboxes, into nicely formatted issues. It maintains the text formatting, inline images and attachments as they were sent in the original mail. If an existing issue key is present in the email subject, it will convert the email as a comment to the existing issue, maintaining the text formatting and inline images. In either case, additional attachments are also added to the issue.
If the email sender is not an existing JIRA user, it will automatically create an external JIRA account. This does not require any JIRA license.
What will ReceiveMe! do for me?
