Am image
What’s it for
Adds additional features to an image on your Confluence page.
The image below shows the Am image macro with a Hero title overlay (see parameters below on how to achieve this):
Configuration Parameters
The following settings will help you to format the image.
Image (from attachments)
Select any of the images attached to your page from the dropdown list. If the list is empty you’ll first have to add some images to the page.
Image (from URL)
If you prefer to use images from another website, then paste the URL to the images in the textbox provided here.
This parameter takes precedence over the Image (from attachments) setting above.
Title
Add a text to give your image a title. In the example above we added Autumn
.
Show title
How should the title be displayed:
No: The title will be hidden at all times.
Always: The title is displayed in the lower part of the image on top of a greyed out area
Over: The title will only appear when hovering over the image.
Hero: The title will be displayed as a hero banner (in big font size over the center of the image).
Title size
Sets the size of the title when it’s shown in the lower part of the image. Choose among small, medium, large, x-large and xx-large.
This setting has no effect when you’ve selected Hero
in the Show title setting.
Centered
When checked, the image will be centered in its container.
Width
Set the image width in % or px. Values as 200px or 25% are valid. If no value is set the image’s original width will be used, unless a value for Height has been set.
Height
Set the image height in % or px. Values as 200px or 25% are valid. If no value is set the image’s original height will be used, unless a value for Width has been set.
Rounded
This parameter will format your picture as an oval area like shown below:
Alternative Text
Specifies an alternate text for the image
Link
Sets a link for your image which provides with the possibility to open a URL when cliking the image.
