Am banner

Available since Version 1.0

What’s it for

Creates a panel with a background or solid color image that can contain other components.

The example below shows 2 banners with the same picture. The first one without and the second with a color overlay.

Configuration Parameters

Image (from attachment)

Select any from the images attached to the page to serve as banner

Image (from URL)

Add the URL to an existing image. When this value is set, it will take precedence over the image selecte from the page attachments.

Center image

If the height of the banner is smaller than the total image height, checking this option will center the image in the available space. The left image below is centered, the right one isn’t:

Background color

Sets a solid color for the banner. Use the color’s hexadecimal value or a recognized color name like blue, white, green, etc…

When set, it takes precedence over the selected images (either from attachments or URL)

Color overlay

Places a slightly transparent layer of solid color over the background. Use the color’s hexadecimal value or a recognized color name like blue, white, green, etc…

Height

Set a fixed height for the banner. Needs to be set in pixels. Example: 200px.

When the height is more than the image’s actual height, then the image will be deformed.
